Time For A Break

We survived another semester!!!!!

Yesterday was the kids' last day of school for the fall semester. This also included ballet and karate. HALLELUIAH!!! Praise the Lord!! I love that the kids have something they can do that they really enjoy, but this momma needs a break.

We had watch days in ballet and certificates handed out in karate. And if my computer cooperates, I have a couple of videos...

Sen-sea (sp ?) Gray and Bubba

My little karate kid :)

He had a lot of fun in karate. He gave his teacher a run for his money, though. Lol!!! I think we'll try it again in the spring semester. So say a little prayer for his Sen-sea.  :)

Bailee's last day came next.
Bailee.... Bailee..... Bailee....
She tested us ALL semester.

August 2012:
"Please Mommy please!! I WANT to take karate!! Please, oh please!!"

September 2012:
"Do I HAVE to go today? I don't want to go to karate!!"

To the very end, she tried to get out of it, but we pushed her to finish. When we went to her last day, her Sen-sea handed out new belts to those that had leveled up and stripes to those who had made progress.

Her class :)

She received her first stripe

Sen-sea Bob and Bailee

As we drove home, she told us she wanted to get her next belt. :) It's amazing how a little recognition changes her attitude :) We'll see how the spring semester goes...

Next, was Madison's watch day. We finally got to see what they had been working on and a sneak peek to their recital costumes. She was very shy at first with all of the parents watching, but finally came out of her shell.

My baby's on the front row this year :)

Too cute :)

Ms. Lugene (aka Best Ballet Teacher EVER) and Madison

This was not the best video I had, but it's the only one I could get to upload. She's the one in all black on the front row.

She is still loving ballet. I think she's going to turn out to be a little "Kenzie".

And last, but not least, was Kenzie. Because she is in an older class, she thinks she is too cool for her momma to take pictures or video. So this was all I could squeeze out of her that day.

My pretty ballerina

All I can say is, I can't wait for her recital!!! Her dances are AWESOME!!!

Now that we are done for the year, I get to just relax and enjoy the next two weeks off from work, school, ballet, gymnastics....my life, really. Lol!! It's going to be AWESOME!!

Happy Winter Break!!

"He Said"

Over the past several weeks, this song has been constantly playing all around me. And to be honest, it's a little annoying. I keep thinking, "COME ON!! Play something else already!" Every time I am in hearing distance of a radio, this is the song that's playing. And I've probably heard it a thousand times, but I have never LISTENED to the words. When I finally heard what this song was saying, I just broke down and cried.

It's been a pretty brutal month in our house and God knew I needed to be reminded of His promises, His love.

He knows me, He knows my family, He knows how I feel.
To have played this song that many times just for me to HEAR what He was saying, He knows my stubbornness too! Lol!!

This song slapped me right between the eyes and said, "Wake the HECK UP!!"

The Big "Six"

Last month went ridiculously fast!! Time always slips away during the holidays. I have a lot of updating to do, so this post will be brief...

Well, Braxton is officially six years old.

Isn't he cute ;)

His personality has changed so much in the last year. He is definitely ALL boy. He loves to draw and is actually pretty good. He has discovered LEGOS....you know, the teeny tiny kind that make you want to say bad things when you step on them. :) He loves to torture his sisters and has officially learned to tie his shoes. He likes to play "Zombies", thank you Daddy for introducing him to The Walking Dead and he is, obviously, diligently working to become the class clown. He has a kind heart and he loves his family. He is my baby boy and most of the time, I love being his Mommy. :)

It's hard to believe that my baby is already half way through his Kindergarten year. The time is flying!! He's finally getting a little taller. Lol!! We are finally up to 5T people!!!!

He had his birthday party a week early, thank you dumb Thanksgiving birthday, but he didn't care. It was, by far, the best turn out we have had to date. He originally wanted a Hulk birthday party, but I couldn't find Hulk stuff anywhere!!! So, last minute as always, I took him to the store to pick out something else and he found pirate stuff. It was sooooo cute!!!!!! I may have suggested, heavily, that pirates were super cool.... ;)

Quick pictures....

PRESENTS!!!

CAKE!!!

GAMES!!!

FAMILY!!!

He's usually quite the stinker at his parties, but he had a lot of fun this year.  We are truly blessed to have such great friends and family to share these special moments with.

He's growing up so fast and I just can't seem to keep up!! I love this little boy so much and he will always have a special place in this momma's heart!!

Happy 6th Birthday, my precious son!!!!!
